Set of 8 eurocoins Vatican 2005 Sede Vacante (BU)

Official Vatican 2005 BU Set "Sede Vacante" contains all 8 circulating euro coins (1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 cents and 1, 2 euros) of the Vatican City.

Following the death of Pope John Paul II in April 2005, the Vatican issued special coins during the period of Sede vacante depicting the emblem of the Apostolic Chamber and the coat of arms of the Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church.

The sculptor, Daniela Longo, is credited with the design of the Euro coins.

Luciana De Simoni was the engraver of 1 and 2 cent coins, Maria Angela Cassol for the 20 and 50 cent coins, Ettore Lorenzo Frapiccini for the 5 cent and 1 Euro coins, and Maria Carmela Colaneri for the 10 cent and 2 Euro coins.
