2 Euro Italy 2014 - 450th anniversary of Galileo Galilei (UNC)

Italians dedicated this coin to 450th anniversary of Galileo Galilei, the Italian astronomer, philosopher and physicist. The coin will show his bust based on the famous portrait of Justus Sustermans from 1636. At the top is shown the name of Galileo Galilei. On the left is a standard monogram of Italy "RI",  on the right side is monogram of mint in Rome - R), astronomical binoculars and monogram of the author (CM = Claudia Momony). At the bottom is the year of birth of Galilei and year of emission:  1564-2014.

Coins are minted in Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato in Italy and it will not be not a rare coin, mintage is 6.5 million coins.
